Hard Reset Option 1:

Firstly ensure that the battery is fully charged;
Backup all your important data; (See: Xperia PC Companion)
Power on your Sony Xperia E1 (D2005);
Now on the dialer enter the code: *#*#7378423#*#*
On the screen Select -> Customization Settings
Then select -> Reset customization and confirm.
Sony Xperia will now start the Master Reset to Factory Default.

Hard Reset Option 2:

Hard Reset Sony Xperia E1 (D2005)

Turn on the Sony Xperia E1 (D2005);
Make sure that the battery is fully charged;
Go to menu: Setting > Backup and reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device
Choose Erase Everything
The Master Reset to Factory Default will now start.

Factory Reset Option 3:

First you should download PC Companion on this website;
You will now see a number of options;
Choose “Support Zone New!”, and click “Start”

Additionally from there you simply click on update

Likewise it will update your software if older but if the software it already up to date then the next option is to click repair.

Now the next screen the resetting of the mobile phone will begin.
